Model Parliament

The Ontario Model Parliament is an annual event, held in January, where members from the Ontario Young Liberals, Ontario Progressive Conservative Youth Association, and the Ontario New Democratic Youth come together to engage in a real-life simulation of provincial politics in the Legislative Assembly at Queen’s Park.

The mock Question Period is always a highlight of the day and tends to be full of animated and lively debates. The day helps OYLers gain a better understanding of the parliamentary process and it is also a fantastic way to meet and interact with youth of different political stripes.
