Volunteer

Ask any Young Liberal and they’ll tell you that the best part of being involved in politics is working on campaigns.

Campaigns are the moment when you get to speak directly to voters about the issues that matter to them and about the choices they face.

Whether by canvassing door-to-door with your candidate, handing out literature to passers-by, attending debates and speaking events, organizing fundraisers, or helping out in the campaign office, there is always a job to do and always a candidate that needs your help.

The OYL’s Election Readiness efforts are well-underway, and we would love to have you involved.  In October 2011, Ontario will hold a provincial election and there will be plenty of volunteer opportunities across the province, in all communities.  Furthermore, a string of minority governments at the federal level means that we always have to be ready for a federal election to happen at any time.

In other words, what are you waiting for?
