Club Funding
Does your OYL riding or campus club have a great idea for an event, a fundraiser, or a campaign?
The OYL provides funding grants through its Good Ideas Fund
for clubs to pursue special projects.

The success of the Ontario Young Liberals largely depends on having active riding and student clubs across the province. These clubs are where new members become involved, Young Liberals gain valuable experience in a wide-range of organizational and policy development positions, and is where grassroots OYL members give back to their local communities or schools.
To assist clubs in growing and remaining active, the OYL runs a Club Funding Program called the Good Ideas Fund to which riding and student clubs can apply should they require financial assistance for their local projects, initiatives, and events. The OYL strongly encourages riding and student club leaders to work with the OYL Executive and the Treasurer on utilizing the benefits which the Good Ideas Fund can offer.
Without grassroots clubs, the OYL would not be the successful organization that it is today: one of the most active youth political groups in Canada. In this regard, it is our hope to help give back to our constituent clubs and to assist them in recruiting and engaging their local members.
For more information regarding the OYL Good Ideas Fund and how your club can apply, please contact the OYL Treasurer, Denise Lam at dlam [at] oyl.org.
Additional information will soon be available on the Good Ideas Fund (formerly called the Board of Internal Funding), including information on criteria for approval and eligibility for funding allocation. In the meantime, feel free to use the contact form below to learn more about the Fund.
